Owner and Principal Engineer Bill O'Brien explains the FE Class and how NextGen engages with the community to build lasting relationships.
FEC is a 15-week practical course facilitated by NextGen Engineering in collaboration with the University of Arizona Continuing & Professional Education. This course is geared to help working engineers who have been out of the classroom or those interested in engineering as a career. The FE exam is the next step towards the Professional Engineer (PE) License.
If you have a 4-year engineering degree or 4 years of documented work experience in the engineering field, you are eligible to take the FE Exam. Either a 4-year engineering degree or 4 years of documented work experience in the engineering field are required to sit for the FE Exam. You may take the FE class while your 4-year requirement is in progress.
*This is a hybrid course with online lecture and small group meetings to work on project sets.
